|Summary of the main
achievements of the charity,
identifying the difference the
charity’s work has made to
the circumstances of its
beneficiaries and any wider
benefits to society as a
whole.|Para 1.20|**Summer/Autumn 23: The small group of**
**about six people, waiting for a venue to**
**appear so we start the workshop, meet**
**each month for a social drink and catch**
**up and to discuss ideas for the venue.**
**Winter 23: two weeks before Christmas -**
**News of a possible venue. Positive Vibes**
**from the Hotel Landlady but not her**
**decision. |Achievements against
objectives set|Para 1.41|**We have far exceeded the primary**
**objective of getting a venue and group of**
**people together to be able to help our**
**community.**
**We have several members who are**
**benefitting from being with a friendly**
**social group producing various items for**
**the wider community who would**
**otherwise be left without any social**
**activity.**|
|---|---|---|
|Performance of fundraising
activities against objectives
set|Para 1.41|**We have benefitted from the kindness of**
**many local businesses that have**
**donated materials for the venue and**
**equipment to be used within the venue.**
**Part of our fund raising was negotiating**
**a year long lease for zero rent. Therefore**
**everything donated above will allow us**
**to accrue some funds through**
**Subscriptions and donations for the**
**items that we have produced to the point**
**where we hope to be able to extend the**
**lease for another year or more.**|
|Investment performance
against objectives|Para 1.41||

|**Financial Review**|||
|Review of the charity’s
financial position at the end
of the period|Para 1.21|**We are at the very beginning of our**
**adventure. We are therefore in a**
**vulnerable position financially. We can**
**only hope that membership increases**
**and that we are able to accrue enough**
**money through our activities in the**
**future to enable us to continue this**
**valued community scheme.**|
|Statement explaining the
policy for holding reserves
stating why they are held|Para 1.22|**Our policy for holding money in reserves**
**is to be able to pay future rent and utility**
**bills. As we are reliant on donations for**
**the items we make or repair, we are**
**expecting periods where funds are not**
**materialising as well as at other times.**
**Until such time as we are able to get**
**funding for running costs, we need to**
**keep a substantial amount in reserve.**|
|Amount of reserves held|Para 1.22|**@£3000**|
|Reasons for holding zero
reserves|Para 1.22||

|Details of fund materially in
deficit|Para 1.24||
|---|---|---|
|Explanation of any
uncertainties about the
charity continuing as a going
concern|Para 1.23|**The workshop is part of a group of**
**buildings owned by a brewery. At this**
**time the hotel is closed, awaiting a new**
**landlord. We have not been concerned**
**about the situation so far as we are**
**confidant that the hotel will re-open. Our**
**concern lies with whether the new**
**landlord will be happy with us there or if**
**the brewery decide to sell the hotel to**
**another party. Similar venues are not**
**readily available at this time.**|
