Aims and Objectlves
The objects of the CIO are to benefrt the public by:
l. The promotion of positive Islamic morals and behaviour
2. The advancement of Islamic education and training
3. The provision of prdyer facllities for the Muslim communty in the London Borough of
Hackney
Nothlng In thls constitution shall authorlse an appllcatlon of the property of the CIO for the
purposes which are not charitable In accordance with the Charitles Art 2011.
Publlc Beneflt
l. The income and property of the CIO must be applied solely towards the promotlon of the
objects.
A charity trustee Is entltled to be ￿1MburSed from the property of the CIO or may pay out of
expense In aCCor£lan￿ wlth, and subject to the conditlons in, Settion 189 of the Charltles
Act 2011.
2. None of the income or property of the CIO may be pald or transferred directly or indirectly by
way of dlvldend, bonus or otherwise by way of profit to any member of the CIO.
3. Nothing in thls clause shall prevent a charity trustee or connerted person recelvlng any beneflt
or payment which Is authorised by Clause 6.
The trustees confimi that they have complied with the requirements of Section 17 of the Charftles
Act 2011 to have due regard to the Charity Conimission's guidance on publlc beneflt.

For the Perlod 6 August 2024 to 30 June 2025
I report to the trustee5 on my examination of the accounts of DALSTON LANE EDUCATIONAL
CENTRE (the Trust) for the period ended 30 June 2025.
Responslblllties and Basis of Report
As the charity trustees of the Trust you are responsible for the preparation of the accounts in
accordance with the requirements of the Charities Act 2011 ("the Act").
I report In respect of my examination of the Trust's accounts carried out under sectlon 145 of the
2011 Att and in carrylng out my examination, I have followed the appllcable Directions given by the
Charity Commission under section 145(5)(b) of the Act.
Independent Examlner's Ststement
I have completed my examination. I conflrm that no materlal matters have come to my attentlon In
connertion with the examination giving me cause to belSeve that In any materlal respert:
l. accountlng records were not kept in respert of the Trust as required by sectlon 130 of the Act;
or
2. the accounts do not accord with those records". or
3. the accounts do not comply with the applicable requirements concerning the form and
contents of accounts set out in the Charities (Accounts and Reports) Regulations 2008 other
than any requirement that the accounts give a 'true and fair view, which is not a matter
considered as part of an Independent examination.
I have no COn￿rnS and have come across no other matters in connertlon wlth the examlnatlon to
which attention should be drawn In this report In order to enable a proper understsnding of the
accounts to be reached.

2.1. Basls of Preparatlon of Hnandal Ststements
The financial statements have been prepared in accordance wlth the Charttie5 SORP (FRS 102)
"Accounting and Reporting by Charities: Statement of Recommended Prartlce applicable to
charities preparing their accounts in accordance wlth the Financial Reporting Standard
applicable in the UK and Republic of Ireland (FRS 102) (effective l January 2019)" Financial
Reportlng Standard 102 'The Finandal Reporting Standard applicable In the UK and Republic of
Ireland" and the Charities Act 2011.
The charfty is a Publlc Benefit Entity as defined by FRS 102.
