Stanley Park Evangelical Free Churd) ANNUAL REPORT The Trustees of Stanley Park Evangelical Free Church CIO present their first Annual Report and Financial Statements for the six months ended 30 September 2025. The accounts are prepared in accordance viith the Accounting Regulations set out under the Charities Act 2011, and with the Charities Statement of Recommended Practi￿ applicable to charities preparing accounts in accordan￿ with FRS102. Structure, govemance and management The name of the CIO is Stanley Park Evangelical Free Church. It is registered with the Charity Commission (number 1209444). Constitution The status of the CIO was granted on 6 August 2024 and was adopted on 1st April 2025. The property had been held in trust by the Fellowship of Independent Evangelical Churches and was transferred to Stanley Park Evangelical Church on 31" March 2025. The Trustees set the overarching strategic approach and policy framework within which Stanley Park Evangelical Free Church operates and are responsible for managing the affairs of the CIO. The Trustees met 3 times dunng the ￿riod of these accounts Appointment and trainlng of Trustees There were no changes to the tM)ard of Trustees in 2025. Date of accounts These first accounts are prepared for the six months to 30 September 2025. The next set of accounts will be prepared for the twelve months to 30 September 2026. Key management persofinel The key management personnel of the charity are the TTUStees. The management of the charity comprtses 3 main elements: (a) Regular Trustees meetings - we held 3 meetings in the period of these accounts. The meetings ensure the Trustees maintain strategic oversight of all aspects of the chartty. Al Trustees meetings are attended by all Trustees.. (b) FInan￿- all financial operations of the charity and oversight of reEevant policies and practi￿$ are under the control of the Trustees. Ic) The church membership are notified of any key decisions. The Trustees received rK) renumeration for their WOTk as Tnjstees or volunteers for Stanley Park Evangelical Free Church, apart from the reimbursement of expenses incurred in the normal course of the Charity's operation. One Trustee is an empkjyee of Stanley Park Evangelical Free Church in the position of pastor. Page 2

At every Trustee meets.ng we specffically consider whether any safeguarding COn￿mS or nsks have emerged to the Tnjst. The Trustees consider the principal risks arKI uncertainties facing the charity, and the plans and strategies for managing these risks. Financial review Financial heatth: The income for the charity for the six months up to 30 September 2025 totalled £28,778 {2024 £Nil) of which £2,474 (2024.. £nil) re￿iVed was given for support of missionary work home and abroad. Total expendrture in the period amounted to £25.437 {2024: £nil) leaving a balan￿ carried fotward to reserves of £69,099 (2024: £nil}. The Trustees contsnue to be encouraged by the supwrt of its members. Financial controls.. We have a comprehensive set of finanGial controls in that all expendrture must be accompanied by documented eviden￿. Objects and activities The purposes of the Church are: the advancement of the Christian faith in accordan￿ with the Basis of Faith primarily but not exclusively within Carshalton, Surrey and the Su￿ound1ng neighbourhood" and such other chantable purposes as shall, in the opinion of the charity trustees, put into practice the Christian faith in accordance vrith the Basis of Faith, including but not limited to.. the prevention and relief of need, hardship and sickness., the advan￿Ment of education- and the provision of facilities in the interests of social welfare for recreation or other leisure time occupation of individuals who have need of such facilities by reason of their youth, age. infimity or disability, financial hardship or social circumstan￿5 Wtlh the object of improving their conditions of life., provided that the advancement of such purposes must be undertaken in a manner that is consistent with the Doctrinal Distinctives and Ethical Statements as may be adopted and amended by the Church from time to time in accordance wrth the provisions of the Church Handbook. All Stanley Park Evangelical Free Church services are open to anyone without restrictFOn. Fundraising All funds are generated by a free wll offering by churth methbers. We hosted ourthiFttHoliday Bible Club as well as an Autumn Festival. Both of these were great events that brought people into the church that otheThvise may not have done. Holiday Bible Club again this year enjoyed the cooperation of both Cana and Oak Baptist Churches in Texas. Our Girls. Brigade continues to grow- with signfficant numbers coming from the above events. The Toddler group continues on as It has these many years. The numters there have also been increasing slightly, and of course we are blessed to have a large group of staff that make this a great event each week. The outreach team effort remains an indispensable part of our ministry here. particularly in terms of our long-temi efforts to bring people to salvation in Jesus Christ. New this year. is the addition of Cranfield Road to our outreach efforts. This is very exciting. and a great augmentstion to the outreach on Stanley Road. Looking ahead, we remain Con￿Med that we seem unable to attract families- even as visitors. Again. the outreach efforts are among the best approaches to coffecting this as well as events such as Holiday Bible Club and Autumn Festival As yet. these efforts are admrttedly disappointing. Additionally, cOn￿M$ about our lack of boys mid-V￿k ministy remain. At some point in the Spring, we plan to resume our roundtable discussions in hopes of addressing such issues. The sessions we had this year were very helpful in addressing issues and considering solutions We are grateful to those who participated and contributed. Finally, we are grateful to all who gave their time and talents on Sunday momings and throughout the week. Stan￿Y Patk Evangelical Free Church Independent Examiner's Report to theTrustees of Stanley Park Evangelical Free Church Forthe six months ended 30 September 2025 I report to the charity trustees on my examinatton of the accounts of Stanley Park Evangelical Free Church (the "Charity") for the six months ended 30 September 2025 set out on pages 9 to 14 Responsibilities and basis of report As the charity's trustees you are responsible for the preparation of the accounts in accordance with Ihe requirements of the Charities Act 2011 ('the Act,). I report in respect of my examination of the Charity's accounts as carried out under section 145 ofthe Act and in carrying out my examination I have followed all the applicable Directions given by the Charity Commission under section 145(5){b) of the Act. Independent examinerfs statement I have completed my examination. I confimi that no matters have come to my attention in connection with the examination giving me cause to believe that in any material respect.. 1. accounting records were not kept in respect of the Charity as required by section 130 of the Act., or 2. the accounts do not accord with those records; or 3. the accounts do not comply with Ihe applicable iequirements Con￿￿￿ng the form and content of accounts set out in the Charities (Accounts and Report) Regulations 2008 other than any requirement Ihat the accounts give a Inje and fair which is not a matter considered as part of an independent examination- or 4. the accounts have not been prepared in accordance with the methods and principFes of Accounting and Reporling by Charities.. The registered office is 130 Stsnley Road Carshatton Surrey SM5 4LP The principal accounting policies adopted, judgements and key sources of estimation uncertainty in the preparation of the financial ststements are as follows.. al Basis of prepara￿on The financial statements have been prepared urKler the Receipts and Payments method. The Charity meets the definition of a public benefft entity under FRS 102 The a¢¢ounts are prepared in pounds sterling rounded to the nearest pound. b) Going Concern The twstees consider that there are no material un￿rtaIntieS aboui the Charitls abilty to continue as a going Goncem. cl Fund Accounting The funds held by the charty are either: Restricted funds- defined as those used for specified purposes laid down by the donor, or where an appeal limits the use of the funds. Unrestricted funds- representing donations and other incomes received for any of the purposes of the charity and are available for use. dl Income Donations and other income (including legacies) are induded in the Statement of Financial Activities (SOFA) when the charty has enttilement to the income. e) Expenditure All expenditure is on a payments basts, supported by authorized payment requests. Charstable expenditure Gomprises those costs incurred by the charity in the delivery of its activities and services for Fts beneficiaries. It includes both costs that can be allocated directly to such activities and those costs of an indirect nature necessary to support them. Governan￿ costs are those costs associated with meeting the constitutional and statutory requirements of the chanty and include accountants, fees and costs linked to the strategic management of the charity These have been allocated directly to charitable expendrture. Stsnley Park Evangelical Free Church fj Cash at bank and In hand Cash at bank and in hand are as listed in the balan￿ sheet g) Financial instruments The charFty only has financial assets and liabilities of a kirKJ that qualfy as basic financial instruments. Basic financial instnjments are initially recognised at transaction value and subsequently measured at their settlement value. 2. GiftAid The Charity was advised on 11th July 2025 by HM Revenue & Customs that its application for recognition as a chartty for tax purF)oses had been accepted, is therefore able to submit claims for Gift Aid. No provision was made in these acGounts as at 30 September 2025 for gifl aid recoverable on the basis of the sum being immaterial. 3. Remuneration and Expenses None of the twstees or officers of the chanty re￿iVed any direct remuneration from the tharity, except for Ryan Theissen as his role of pastor 4. Non Monetary During the reporting period the church buikling was transferred from a trust held by The Fellowship of Independent Evangelical Churches for no monetary value to Stanley Park Free Evangelical Church CIO on 31st March 2025. To give a fair value of the assets the value used is equal to the insured value. Page 10
