The  charity  is  managed  through  regular  committee  meetings  and  an annual general meeting. 

Trustees are recruited by members of the committee proposing potential trustees to the committee meetings and the annual general meeting.  All members of the committee may be trustees. 

## **Objectives of the charity** 

To  advance  the  education  of  the  public  in  general  (and  particularly amongst scientists) on the subject of natural products from whole plants, marine organisms, terrestrial animals, fungi bacteria and viruses and to promote research for the public benefit in all aspects of that subject and to publish the useful results.

## **Charity bank account opened** 

The charity’s bank account was opened in November 2024. 

## **Founding committee meeting** 

This was held on the 7[th] of March 2025 and various interim roles were discussed. 



## **Achievements and performance** 

The charity is newly formed and has yet to produce any achievements, however the trustees of the charity are confident that the SNPD will in the future make a significant contribution to the advancement of education in the field of natural products. 

## **Financial review** 

The charity is in good financial health and has no debts.  No funds are held with a custodian trustee.
