Achievements and Performance
SORP roferen
September 2024: We took part in the
Heritage Open Day to showcase the start
of the project and its findings. This was
achieved through display of 6 banners
detailing the story so far (designed by one
of the Trustees). Several local deteclorists
and their finds were on display for people
to look at, touch and discuss with the
delectorists. The Time Team episodes
were also on the TV on repeat.
October 2024.. Music Quiz in the Village
Hall to raise funds with a fish and chip
supper, bar and raffle. Very well supported
and an enjoyable evening.
December 2024: Winter Solstice afternoon
Mulled wine, mince pies and Pearl In Th
Egg {2 ladies) dressed in Anglo-saxon
Costumes playing Anglo- Saxon
instruments.
Christmas Lunch for Trustees, Committee
Members and partners (self funded) held in
the Village Pub - supporting a local
Business.
March 2025: Bygone Evening, Part 2. A
selection of old village pholos with
inteNiew Style approach to the speaker.
Fish and chip supper, bar and raffle. Again
another well supported event to raise
funds.
