Rugby Focus exists to promote rugby as a means of social inclusion and community development. The charity aims to provide opportunities for children and young people, particularly those from disadvantaged backgrounds, to participate in rugby and benefit from the values and skills the sport fosters.
## **Main Activities**
During the reporting period, Rugby Focus undertook the following activities in furtherance of its charitable objectives:
- **Rugby Training and Development** : Delivered coaching sessions and skill-building programmes for children and young people, creating pathways into amateur rugby.
- **Community Outreach and Support** : Assisted families facing financial hardship by providing essential rugby equipment, kits, and support with club fees, ensuring affordability and accessibility.
- **Inclusive Rugby Environment** : Promoted an inclusive and welcoming rugby community where participants develop teamwork, discipline, and confidence, contributing to their personal growth and social integration.
These activities were carried out across Ashford, Kent, and extended to wider communities in England and Wales, benefiting children, young people, and the general public.

participants.

Provided essential rugby equipment and subsidised club fees for

Supplied rugby boots and kit to various disadvantaged children
within our local rugby club, as well as members of the women’s
rugby team.

**Funded Tour Costs for Disadvantaged Teams**
Paid for tour kit and tour fees for a disadvantaged rugby team,
ensuring they could participate fully in the experience.

**Travel Assistance for Women’s Rugby Players**
Covered fuel costs for various women’s rugby players to enable
them to attend matches, supporting inclusivity and continued
participation.

organisations in Ashford and surrounding areas, promoting
