The new fomiation of Chocolate & Co as a
separate Charity from Our Father's Heart
CIO111753411 was proposed by the Our
Father's Heart CIO trustees in January
2025. The new charity was set up in
August 2024, and, whilst this has been
fairly lengthy process, it was finalised in
May 2025 when the18ase ofihe café was
reassigned to the new charity.
During this process, the Chocolate & Co
charity has continued to operate as a UK
project of Our Fathers Heart. This enabled
appropriate financial governance of funds
paid into Our Father's Heart on behalf of
Chocolate & Co and that these funds
remained accessible to facilitate the
operational wnning of the café.
In the period, there has also been Some
fundraising directly into Chocolate & Co
setting the foundations for the operational
activities moving in May 2025.
Chocolate & Co have 8 new trustee board in
place bringing great experience from
professional services working in addiction
and the criminal justice system. as well as
business experience and the lo¢al
community church le8dership.
We Continue to build upon local
relationships, working together within our
local community, being a source of support
for many and we can see the impact the
work we are doing 1$ having within this.
We a￿ incredibly gratefvl to all our funders
and volunteers who have supported the
progress ofchocolate & Co, and we look
