**Objects:** THE OBJECTS OF THE CIO ARE TO ADVANCE THE EDUCATION OF THE PUBLIC IN THE ART OF BRASS BAND MUSIC, BY PROVIDING OPPORTUNITIES FOR LEARNING, INSTRUCTION, AND PERFORMANCE.NOTHING IN THIS CONSTITUTION SHALL AUTHORISE AN APPLICATION OF THE PROPERTY OF THE CIO FOR THE PURPOSES WHICH ARE NOT CHARITABLE IN ACCORDANCE WITH SECTION 7 OF THE CHARITIES AND TRUSTEE INVESTMENT (SCOTLAND) ACT 2005 AND SECTION 2 OF THE CHARITIES ACT (NORTHERN IRELAND) 2008.

**Activities:** We are a brass band based Dock Road, Tilbury and have been in existence for over 100 years. Currently in the 1st Section of the National Brass Band grading tables we attend at least one contest a year and perform regularly in the Essex area.We fully own our rehearsal hall and welcome anyone that has a reasonable standard of playing to come and make music with us.
