## Activities

**Objects:** FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT, TO RELIEVE THE NEEDS OF THOSE WHO HAVE EXPERIENCED A STROKE, THEIR FAMILIES, PRIMARILY BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY THROUGH SOCIAL INTERACTION, PEER SUPPORT, PHYSICAL ACTIVITIES AND MENTAL WELL-BEING GROUPS TO HELP DEVELOP AND SUPPORT THEM WITH SPEECH, LANGUAGE AND COMMUNICATION DIFFICULTIES AND GAIN CONFIDENCE.

**Activities:** We help them to regain their confidence after Stroke. We provide weekly activities and its also an opportunity to chat with Survivors and volunteers. We look at each of individuals needs and encourage them with their wellbeing, confidence and self-esteem. The volunteers are  DSB checked, and we encourage relevant training to extend their knowledge of Speech and Language difficulties and Stroke.
