How charity is constituted
INSANIYAT FOUNDATION is constituted as a Charitable Incorporated Organisation (CIO) - Foundation Model, where the sole voting member is the charity Trustee. We have adopted a model constitution to ensure full compliance with the Charities Act 2011, as amended by the Charities Act 2022 and General Regulations, ensuring we:

Our charitable objects are as follows:
THE PREVENTION OR RELIEF OF POVERTY IN PAKISTAN BY PROVIDING OR ASSISTING IN THE PROVISION OF:

Statement of Trustee Responsibilities
The charity trustee is responsible for preparing an annual report and financial statements in accordance with applicable law and United Kingdom Accounting Standards (United Kingdom Generally Accepted Accounting Practice).
The charity trustee is required to prepare financial statements for each year which give a true and fair view of the state of affairs of the charitable company and of incoming resources and application of resources. In preparing financial statements, the trustee is required to:

Observe the methods and principles in the Charities SORP.

Make judgements and estimates that are reasonable and prudent.

Prepare the financial statements on the going concern basis unless it is inappropriate to presume that the charity will continue in operation.
The trustee is responsible for keeping proper accounting records that disclose with reasonable accuracy at any time the financial position of the charity. The trustee is also responsible for safeguarding the assets of the charity and hence for taking reasonable steps for the prevention and detection of fraud and other irregularities.
