The trustees present their report with the financial statements of the ¢harity for the period 19 July 2024 to 31 March 2025.

applicable to charities preparit]g their accounts in accordance H'ith the Financial Reporting Standard applicable in the UK
and Republic of Ireland (FRS 102) (effective l Jaiiuary 2019).

The charity wa5 registered on 19 July 2024 as a Charitable IncoTporated Organisatitsn {ClO).
OBJECTIVES AND ACTIVITIES

Public benefit
The trustses are satisfied ￿'1th the performance of the charity, during the year and in planning the activities ihe trustees
have had regard to the Charity Commission's guidance on public benefit.
ACHIEVEMENT AND PERFORMANCE
Charitable activitie
In our first year of operating, we are plea%ed to have successfully established the following activities, all of which are
open to the public aiid all of ￿'hIch are free of charge..
l) A weekly worship service that serves people in the local COTnmunity and beyond. We begat] with an average of 19
people in June 2024, and as of March 2025 we aveTaged 28 people in attendance.
2) Monthly Bible studie5 and prayer meetings, where anyone can come to lealli about the Bible and to pray together
with other believers.
3) Regular fellowship lunches to help cultivate community aiid friendships.
4) Discipleship breakfast5
5) Psalm-singin¥ events wl)ere people can come and leam to sing in four parts, meeting others whilst worshipping
together.
6) Educatitsn seminar in January 2025, where a former Oxford Professor spoke. More than 60 petsple attended.
7) We have givtTi soine oloui income away tts help causes related to ours.
8) We contii)ue to save up to 15Q/o of our income to give away to futuie needs as they present themselves.
We have consistently been meeting in t￿.0 venues in Grimsargh.. the Grimsargh Club and Grimsargh Village Hall, with
whom we share excellent relationships. We financially cOntribu￿d to Ihe renovation fund of the Grimsargh Club to help
coniribuie to the local community of which we are a part. We also p0S￿d free magazines through many doors in
Grimsargh which we hope were an encouragement to our neighbours.
FINANCIAL REVIEW
Financial position
The church's activities during the year were funded bv the generous giving of its congregation. The church is in ils early
stages and therefore has relatively low fixed costs. It is therefore in a g(K)d position as it plans for future activities.
The incL)me flir the year was £34.999 and expenditure was £20.898.
Reserl'es policv
The charity ainis to maintain reserves equivaleni to at least three months of ongoing expendithre. At th¢ end of this
financial }'ear that equgtes to £5:224. The charity held £14,10 l of unrestricted funds aiid therefore the reserve threshold
is close to being met. As of the time of writiiig this report, the threshold is beiiig comfortably met.

FUTURE PLANS
We are aiming to pursue the following in temis of fu￿re plans..
Launch a course called 'Hope Explored, which is for anyone M'ho wants to get together to explore and talk about the
Christian faith.
Lauiich adults and children5' Suiiday School. This would likely be held before the Sunday worship service, the ai
of whiLlI M'ould be to help people learn Tnore about Christliinity and how we cali live a5 people whts love God and
nei¥hbour in all of life.
Establi5hin¥ a 5troiiger presence iii the community order to be able to support aiid help Others. We will do this by
having a pre5eiice at the Lon¥rid¥e Sliow and possible other eveiits.
Hts5tiii¥ a fainily event called 'Lego Builders,, a free to attend Lego-building event for the cominunity in which the
Cliiistian nit5Sii¥e will be 5hdred.
Hosiing a carol-singing night lor the community w attend.
Possibly. finai)ce-allowing, hiring an Assisiant Mii)ister to help with the growing needs of the church.
STRUCTURE, GOVERNANCE AND MANAGEMENT
Governing doeument
The charity is controlled by its governing document. a constiiurion registered on 19th July 2024, and constitutes a
Charitable Incorporatsd Organisation (CIO) as defined by the Charities Act 2011.
Recruitment and appointment of new trustees
New trustees are appointed by a resolution passed at a properlp convened meeting of charity trustees. In selecting new
Irusiees, the charity trustees must have regard to the skills, knowledge and experience needed for the effective
administration of the chariry.
The ¢hur¢h minister is automatically appointed as a trustee for as long as h¢ holds that office.
All new trustees are provided with a copy of the ¢onstitution, latest trnst¢es' report and accounts and the Charity
Commission guidance for trustees that explains the role of a trnstee and what is expected of them.
