Aims

The objective of the charity is to advance the education of the pupils living within the ecclesiastical parish of Ambrosden by providing and assisting with the provision of facilities for their education. The income from the invested funds is used each year to support local children. In previous years before charity status, funds awarded have been used for school trips, breakfast clubs, musical instruments, book prizes and various other reasons.

Administration

As a new charity, trustees are recruited from the local community. Charity activities are focused in the local community hence appointing local trustees.

The charity trustees meet annually to make decisions on available funds, approach to local educational establishments and distribution of available funds.

First year

In it’s first year the trustees agreed to contact a local village school to offer funds. Contact was made with the headmaster but due to a headmaster change no funds were requested. AGM due end of March to revisit actions for giving of donations.
