1. Structure, Governance and Management
Restore Habitat UK is a registered charity governed by its constitution. The charity is managed by its trustees, who are responsible for the strategic direction and financial oversight of the organisation.

The object of the CIO is for the public benefit, the preservation, conservation, and improvement of the wildlife and natural environment in the UK, particularly but not:

A. Promoting the restoration of natural habitat for wildlife via direct action and public education.

B. Providing education and encouraging engagement of the general public in the practice of conservation, threatened specie,s and environmentally friendly living.

C. Promoting and undertaking research in the various areas of benefit to conservation and preservation of the native wildlife.
Activities Undertaken
During the reporting period, the charity focused on:

Supporting habitat restoration initiatives

Developing partnerships and funding opportunities
The trustees confirm that they have had due regard to the Charity Commission’s public benefit guidance and believe the charity’s activities provide clear public benefit.

Although this was an early operational year for the charity, the trustees successfully:

Built a foundation for long-term environmental projects
Plans for the coming year include expanding conservation activities and community engagement.

The charity’s financial position for the period was:

The trustees are satisfied that the charity remains financially stable and able to meet its obligations.
