**Objects:** TO RELIEVE THE NEEDS OF THOSE RESIDENT IN THE COUNTY OF GLOUCESTERSHIRE WHO ARE SICK, CONVALESCENT, MENTALLY OR PHYSICALLY DISABLED OR INFIRM BY:A) BY MAKING TRAINING GRANTS TO HEALTH CARE PROFESSIONALS WHO ARE ENGAGED IN COMMUNITY HEALTHCARE SO AS TO ASSIST IN THE PROVISION OF EFFICIENT COMMUNITY HEALTH CARE;B) PROVIDING OR PAYING FOR ITEMS, SERVICES OR FACILITIES WHICH ALLEVIATE THEIR SUFFERING OR ASSIST THEIR RECOVERY BUT ARE NOT READILY AVAILABLE TO THEM FROM OTHER SOURCES;C) BY ARRANGING FOR ITEMS, SERVICES OR FACILITIES WHICH ALLEVIATE THEIR SUFFERING OR ASSIST THEIR RECOVERY TO BE PROVIDED BY OTHER INSTITUTIONS OR ORGANISATIONS.

**Activities:** We award grants to relieve the needs of residents in Gloucestershire who are sick, convalescent, mentally or physically disabled or infirm.  The grants cover the costs of items, services etc. which alleviate their suffering or assist their recovery.   We also make training grants to health care professionals engaged in community healthcare in Gloucestershire.
