REDBRIDGE EDUCATION PAKfNERSHIP
Audit of Funds 2024- 2025
BACKGROUND
I have carried out an audit of the accounts of Redbridge Education Partnership forthe period
l April 2024 to 31" March 2025. At that date, the fund had an accumulated balance of
£108,210.60.
SUMMARY
The accounts are very well managed with a clear audit trail with explanations for any
amendments.
All expenditure is now paid via Bacs and the majority of income is also collerted this way.
ACCOUn￿n8 records for income and expenditure are kept on Excel spreadsheets. All income
and expenditure transactions have been checked against bank statements, Excel
spreadsheets and income/expenditure vouchers.
FINDINGS
All income and expenditure transattions are very clear wlth supporting
documentation and in all cases fully authorised
Bank reconciliations have taken place monthly with email confirmation statingthey
have been checked
A credit to Badey Lane primary school of £260 remains outstandln8 from February
2025
Recommendations made at the last audit have bÈen implemented
Since the last audit. REP has registered with the Charity Commission as a Charitable
Incorporated Organisation
RECOMMENDATIONS
Ensure all payments made to Board Members are certified by two people before
payment is made
To further reduce the size of the bank balance, this is publlc money which needs to
be accounted for.
CONCLUSION
I have independently scrutinised these records and certify that the financial statements are
in accordance with the books, vouchers and explanations provided.
In my opinion, the accounts present a true and fair view of thls Fund and Its Income and
expenditure for the year.
