1. Reference and Administrative Details :

Charity Name: Sanabel Organisation for Development Governing document: Constitution Principal area of operation: United Kingdom Beneficiary group: Refugees, asylum seekers, and migrants.

2. Objectives and Activities :

Sanabel Organisation for Development exists to support refugees, asylum seekers, and vulnerable migrants in the United Kingdom by providing practical assistance with essential documentation, applications, and access to public services and social integration .

The charity’s objectives during the reporting period were to :

• Reduce digital and administrative exclusion.

• Support access to services (Education, health care, integration…), identity documents, and mobility.

• Improve beneficiaries’ ability to access employment, welfare, and family stability.

3. Public Benefit Statement:

The trustees confirm that they have had due regard to the Charity Commission’s guidance on public benefit.

The charity provides public benefit by:

• Supporting individuals to regularise their immigration and legal status.

• Enabling access to essential services such as Education, health care, transport, welfare support, and banking.

• Reducing stress, delays, and risks associated with incorrect or incomplete applications.

• Supporting family unity and social inclusion.

All services were delivered free of charge to beneficiaries who would otherwise face significant barriers due to language, digital exclusion, or financial constraints.

4. Summary of Activities During the Year :

During the year, the charity provided direct one-to-one support across a wide range of essential services, including immigration-related documentation, transport access, welfare applications, and general administrative support.

Support was delivered through in-person assistance, document preparation, online application guidance, and referrals to partner organisations.

5. Achievements and Impact :

Based on internal service records, the charity supported at least 66 documented service interactions, benefiting multiple individuals, some of whom required ongoing or repeat support.

Key outcomes achieved during the year include :

Immigration and Legal Documentatio

• We have set up a website .

• 1 successful family reunion visa application.

• 15 travel document applications.

• 10 UK eVisa application.

• 10 College application

• 1 UKVI asylum-related complaint supported.

• 4 application registration cards (ARC) supported.

• Document scanning and submissions to the Home Office.

• 15 provisional driving licence applications

• 5 bus pass applications.

Welfare, Integration, and Daily Living

• 2 Universal Credit applications.

• 1 bank account setup.

• 1 voluntary job application

• 1 referral and connection to partner charity (BRICH).

These interventions enabled beneficiaries to:

• Travel lawfully and safely

• Access employment and volunteering opportunities. • Maintain family connections.

• Engage more independently with UK systems and services.

6. Challenges and Lessons Learned :

The main challenges faced during the period include:

• Increasing demand for services with limited organisational capacity.

• Complexity and frequent changes in Home Office digital systems.

• High levels of digital exclusion among beneficiaries.

Key lessons learned :

• Early intervention significantly improves outcomes.

• Ongoing support is often required for the same individual.

• Partnership working increases effectiveness and reduces duplication.

7. Plans for the Future :

In the next reporting period, Sanabel Organisation for Development aims to :

• Formalise volunteer roles and training.

• Improve record-keeping and monitoring systems.

• Expand outreach within refugee and asylumseeking communities.

• Strengthen partnerships with legal and community organisations.

• Develop simple guidance materials for common applications.

8. Trustees’ Declaration :

The trustees declare that this report has been prepared in accordance with the Charities Act 2011 and Charity Commission guidance and accurately reflects the charity’s activities and performance during the reporting period.

9. Financial Review :

During the reporting period, Sanabel Organisation for Development had no income or expenditure.

As well printing some cards and banners .

The Charity Chair man has deposited 250£ "British Pounds" for the website creation and setup.

The charity did not :

• Receive grants or donations.

• Hold a bank account in the charity’s name.

• Incur operating costs or liabilities.

All activities were delivered on a voluntary basis, with trustees and volunteers contributing their time and skills without financial reimbursement.
