Activities
FOLL, Friends of Lancaster Library is a new charity supporting the library and promoting diversity. We deliver free events to engage the local community, offering informal learning for all ages and backgrounds. FOLL runs three cafes, helping deprived and vulnerable groups, including families, young people, and underrepresented communities, fostering connection and accessibility for all.
Objects: To Advance The Education Of The Public In Lancaster And The Surrounding Area Or Communities By Supporting The Lancaster Lending Library Operated And Managed By Lancashire County Library Service.to Promote For The Benefit Of The Residents Of Lancaster And The Surrounding Area Or Communities, The Provision Of A Public Library For Recreation And Or Other Leisure Time Occupation Of Individuals Who Have Need Of Such Facilities By Reason Of Their Youth, Age, Infirmity Or Disablement, Financial Hardship Or Social And Economic Circumstances Or For The Public At Large In The Interests Of Social Welfare And With The Object Of Improving The Condition Of Life Of The Said Residents.
