The charity is registered as a Charity with Charity Commission for England and Wales with effect from 24 June 2024. Charity Trustees The Charity Trustees who served during the year were.. Oblects of the Charlty The principal objects of Al Aqsa CC Trust are= To advance the religion of Islam. by means of. but not exclusively. promoting the teachings and tenets of Islam, in accordance wiih the Sunni Hanafi school of thought. provision of facilities for worship, and provision of facilities for Islamic education.. To advance the education of the public in particular. but not exclusively. by the provision of community learning programmes. classes. seminars and functions- To provide or assist in the provision of facilities in the interests of social welfare for recreation or other leisure time occupation of individua15 who have need of such facilities by rea50n of their youth, age infirmity or disability. financial hardship. social circumstance5. or other disadvantage with the objert of improving their conditions of life.. and To promote any other charitable purpose for the benefit of muslims and the general public that the trustees from time to tirne may determine. The charity has established and runs 5ub5idi5ed after school classes for children to learn Islamic tenet5 to develop a better understanding of the Islam. The education is imparted systemically to ensure children at different stages of learning attain appropriate benefit. The classes are attended by children who live in the neighbourhood of the charity. In addition. the charity has established a regular prayer facility led by an Imam for all people to participate in. These prayers are well attended by families who live in the neiEhbourhood of the charity. Volunteers On occasion5 the A550ciation involves volunteers in the delivery of its artivities. Reserves It is the policy of the Charity to maintain unrestricted funds at a level in excess of annual unrestricted rnanagement and administration expenditure. I report in respect of my examination of the chariW5 accounts carried out under section 145 of the Act and in carrying out my examination I have followed all the applicable Directions given by the Charity Commission under section 14515llbl of the Act.
