## **Objectives and activities** 

Jak’s World was established to support mental wellbeing and suicide prevention through accessible community-based activities, creative engagement, and peer support. The charity aims to reduce isolation, promote emotional wellbeing, and create safe spaces for individuals to connect and heal. 

## **Activities and achievements** 

During the period, the charity delivered a range of wellbeing and community support activities, including sessions under the Hopeful Horizons initiative. These activities were offered free at the point of access and focused on promoting mental wellbeing, connection, and emotional resilience within the community. 

## **Public benefit** 

The trustees confirm that they have had due regard to the Charity Commission’s guidance on public benefit and that the charity’s activities have been carried out for the benefit of the public. 

## **Financial review** 



During the period, the charity received income primarily from donations and small-scale fundraising. Expenditure was focused on delivering charitable activities, including venue hire, facilitators, materials, and essential running costs. The charity ended the period with a positive balance to support future activities. 

## **Reserves policy** 

The charity does not currently hold a formal reserves policy. Any surplus funds are retained to support future charitable activities.
