## **Aims and Purposes** 

The Apostolics of Swansea (AOS) exists to advance the Christian religion for the benefit of the public in accordance with the statements of belief appearing in the Statement of Faith of the UPCGB & I. 

## **Objectives and Activities** 

AOS is committed to enabling as many people as possible to worship and be a part of the church. The church engages in the following activities throughout the year: 

- regular public worship, prayer, Bible study, preaching and teaching; 

- baptism, in accordance with the UPC of GB&I beliefs; 

- evangelism and mission, locally, regionally, nationally and internationally; 

- the teaching, encouragement, welcome and inclusion of young people and children; 

- nurturing and growing of disciples of Christ; 

- education and training in the Christian faith in accordance with UPC of GB&I beliefs; 

- giving and encouraging pastoral care; 

- encouraging relationships, cooperation and support of other churches within the     UPC of GB&I. 

Each of these are important as we maintain the fabric of the church community. 

## **Achievements and Performance** 

AOS has attempted to offer a range of services during the week over the course of this year. We have had Bible studies, fellowship gatherings, outreach events as well as our regular Sunday worship service. We have attempted to engage more people in being involved in different areas of the church in a service capacity. 

While not having an official first business session yet, we maintained steady attendance of 19 with three baptisms. 

We have continued to rent a facility which continues to serve the needs of the congregation while also being fiscally responsible. 

## **Financial Review** 

We received a total of £5080 in donations, the vast majority of which being internal donations. There was one consistent donor of £20 per month from outside the local assembly. 

The total expenses for this time period covered were £3256. This included facility rental fees, expenses for events as well as insurance and MOT expense for the use of a van. 

With previous funds brought forward, current donations, minus expenses, it left us with a balance on hand of £5,288.52 on January 31st, 2025.

AOS has three appointed trustees along with the pastor as a designate trustee.
