## Activities

**Objects:** FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT TO PROMOTE PUBLIC APPRECIATION OF THE ARTS THROUGH THE PRESENTATION OF HIGH-QUALITY ARTISTIC PERFORMANCES INSPIRED BY SHAKESPEARE&#x27;S PLAYS AND POETRY, BY HOLDING A FESTIVAL OF MUSIC, RECITALS, PERFORMANCES, TALKS AND WORKSHOPS.

**Activities:** SIM organises an annual Festival of Shakespeare in Music in Stratford-upon-Avon, close to the Bard&#x27;s birthday 23 April. The Festival contains a dozen musical recitals - from Renaissance to Rap - as well as several educational talks on Shakespeare&#x27;s musical legacy. SIM invites musicians at all stages of their career to perform in the Festival and appeals to audiences of all ages and backgrounds.
