**Objects:** THE OBJECT OF THE CIO IS FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT TO PROMOTE THE CONSERVATION, PROTECTION AND IMPROVEMENT OF THE PHYSICAL AND NATURAL ENVIRONMENT BY PROVIDING THE PUBLIC AND IN PARTICULAR, BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY, GARDENERS, WITH INFORMATION AND INSTRUCTION ABOUT CLIMATE SCIENCE AND GLOBAL WARMING, AND BY ENCOURAGING THEM TO ADOPT MEASURES TO PREVENT OR REDUCE THE IMPACT OF CLIMATE CHANGE, THROUGH HORTICULTURE AND GARDENING.

**Activities:** The charity aims to encourage gardeners to use their gardens to mitigate the impact of climate change. It achieves this through the information provided on its website, giving talks to gardening clubs and community groups, and having a stand at gardening events, eco-fairs and other public events.  We are also involved in projects such as the creation of demonstration and community gardens.
