Structure remains unchanged opera�ng as Charitable Incorporated Organisa�on with trustees being only vo�ng members. We do have a show commi�ee with volunteers running individual sec�ons of the agricultural show, Future trustees will be recruited from these volunteers already associated with the organisa�on. 

The ac�vity undertaken by the charity is to run a one day agricultural show in July each year. The objec�ves are unchanged from the original governing document. To advance ci�zenship and community development within the Leek area, by giving local groups opportuni�es to promote their ac�vi�es to the general public through demonstra�ons and displays at an annual show, including hor�culture, poultry, the environment, educa�on and rural cra�s. 

The show in 2024 was successful with good a�endance and with no incidents of concern. Poultry were unable to a�end due to avian flu restric�ons but sec�on organised an egg display to con�nue to promote ac�vity to general public. 

and environmental issues. 

Feedback on social media was overwhelmingly posi�ve indica�ng show well received by general public. 

The show had previously operated through a CIC. On forma�on of the charity the assets of the CIC £82,566 were donated to the charity. 

All other amounts in the accounts are in line with expecta�ons and normal opera�ons. Figures show a reasonable surplus of income over expenditure. 

Reserves held as cash balance £112,141 at year end. 

No awards have been made to local chari�es in year. The running of the show is very dependant on the weather. With increasing incidents of extreme weather there is always the possibility that the show will have to be cancelled. This would mean no income in the year with running costs s�ll to be met. There is therefore a need to maintain a reserve of cash to cover costs in this eventuality. The ques�on of making dona�ons remains under regular review.
