1. Chair’s Foreword

It is with immense pride and a deep sense of responsibility that I present the Trustee Report for Heartfelt Global for the past financial year. 

This year has been one of significant transition and growth. We set out to deepen our impact in the communities we serve, and I am pleased to report that, thanks to the dedication of my fellow trustees—Juliana, Mary, and Elizabeth—alongside our incredible volunteers and supporters, we have exceeded our initial objectives. 

As a board, we have focused on ensuring that our governance is as strong as our compassion. We have reviewed our strategic direction and ensured that every decision made was in the best interest of our beneficiaries. I extend my heartfelt gratitude to the team for their unwavering commitment. 

## **2. Structure, Governance, and Management** 

Heartfelt Global is a charitable organization governed by a board of trustees. The trustees, listed above, are responsible for the overall management and control of the charity. 

## **Trustee Induction and Training:**

New trustees are inducted by the existing board. During the year, the trustees-maintained compliance with charity law and reviewed our risk management framework to ensure the longterm sustainability of the charity. 

## **Recruitment and Appointment** : 

Trustees are appointed by the board based on the skills required to manage the charity effectively. The current board comprises a diverse mix of financial acumen, administrative experience, and community project management expertise. 

## 3. Objectives and Activities 

Our Purpose:

- Operational Excellence (Led by Mary Owusu Ocansey): Mary ensured our administrative backbone was solid, managing compliance, minute-keeping, and internal communications flawlessly, which allowed the rest of the team to focus on delivery. 

- Strategic Vision (Led by Dennis Williams): The Chair facilitated strategic planning sessions that refocused our mission and strengthened the team's cohesion. 

5. Financial Review

The financial position of Heartfelt Global remains healthy and stable. 

## **Income:**
