**Objects:** THE OBJECTS OF THE CIO ARE TO PRESERVE AND PROTECT GOOD HEALTH AND TO RELIEVE SICKNESS FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT OF ETHNIC MINORITY PEOPLE WITH HEART DISEASE OR RELATED ALILMENTS THROUGH THE PROVISION OF SUCH ADVICE AND SUPPORT AS THE TRUSTEES’ DEEM APPROPRIATE AND BY PROMOTING RESEARCH INTO HEART DISEASE AND RELATED AILMENTS WITHIN ETHNIC MINORITY COMMUNITIES AND BY DISSEMINATING THE USEFUL RESULTS OF SUCH RESEARCH.NOTHING IN THIS CONSTITUTION SHALL AUTHORISE AN APPLICATION OF THE PROPERTY OF THE CIO FOR THE PURPOSES WHICH ARE NOT CHARITABLE IN ACCORDANCE WITH SECTION 7 OF THE CHARITIES AND TRUSTEE INVESTMENT (SCOTLAND) ACT 2005 AND SECTION 2 OF THE CHARITIES ACT (NORTHERN IRELAND) 2008].

**Activities:** We exist to advance the awareness of heart related disease in the black community in UK and advocate for necessary intervention and prevention. When needed, we signpost to relevant practical help for people who are affected.
