Preventative solutions for disadvantaged communities, including minoritised groups and people with disabilities. Our support includes advice, advocacy, physical health programs, educational initiatives, and nutritional interventions. We improve conditions for those facing financial hardship, ill health, housing barriers, or other disadvantages. We operate across Greater London and Regionally.
Objects: The Objects Of The CIO Area) The Relief Of Those In Need, By Reason Of Youth, Age, Ill-Health, Disability, Financial Hardship Or Other Social Or Economic Disadvantage Through Preventative Solutions Like Access To Drop-In Services Which Provides Specialist Advice And Support To Access Welfare, Benefits, Housing, Finance And Health, Including The Provision Of Items Through Charitable Grants To Relieve Poverty Intended To Improve Quality Of Life; And To Raise Awareness And Action For Relief Directly Or Indirectly Of Such Poverty.b) To Advance Education Through Supportive Activities To Develop The Skills And Capabilities Of Children And Young People Aged 6 And 25, In Particular But Not Exclusively Within Community And School Settings To Enable Them To Participate In Society As Mature And Responsible Adults And To Advance Education Generally And Lifelong Learning To Adults To Foster Competences, Skills And Understanding On Topics Linked To Neurodiversity, Mental Health And Wellness, Employability, Serious Youth Violence, Homelessness, Disability, Esol And Health Delivered In Public Or Community Spaces.c) To Promote Community Participation In Healthy Recreation By Assisting In Providing Facilities For Playing Sports Which Promote Healthy Recreation (“facilities” Means Buildings, Equipment And Organising Sporting Events).d) To Assist Or Assist In The Provision Of Facilities For Recreation Or Other Leisure Time Occupations Of Such Persons Who Have Such Need For Such Facilities By Reason Of Their Disability, Youth, Age Infirmity, Poverty Or Social And Economic Circumstances Of For The Public At Large In The Interests Of Social Welfare With The Object Of Improving Their Conditions Of Life.e) To Preserve And Protect Good Health Through The Provision Of Physiotherapy, Sports Massage, Nutrition, Mindfulness And Mediation Sessions, To Enhance Personal Performance, Fitness And Endurance And Through Organised Sporting Events, Coaching Sessions, Sports Programmes To Enable Disabled, Neurodiverse And Non-Disabled People To Participate In Physical Recreation.nothing In This Constitution Shall Authorise An Application Of The Property Of The CIO For The Purposes Which Are Not Charitable In Accordance With [section 7 Of The Charities And Trustee Investment (scotland) Act 2005] And [section 2 Of The Charities Act (northern Ireland) 2008].
