**Objects:** THE OBJECTS OF THE CIO ARE.1) THE PREVENTION OR RELIEF OF POVERTY IN THE UK AND INTERNATIONALLY BY PROVIDING: GRANTS, ITEMS AND SERVICES TO INDIVIDUALS IN NEED AND CHARITIES OR OTHER ORGANISATIONS WORKING TO PREVENT OR RELIEVE POVERTY.2) THE PROMOTION OF COMMUNITY PARTICIPATION IN HEALTHY RECREATION BY THE PROVISION OF FACILITIES FOR PLAYING DODGEBALL, FOOTBALL, VOLLEYBALL, AND ROUNDERS AND HOSTING SPORTS DAYS.3) TO ADVANCE THE EDUCATION OF THE PUBLIC BY PROVIDING MENTORSHIP PROGRAMS FOR UNIVERSITY STUDENTS AND ADVICE AND HELP WITH UNIVERSITY APPLICATIONS. NOTHING IN THIS CONSTITUTION SHALL AUTHORISE AN APPLICATION OF THE PROPERTY OF THE CIO FOR PURPOSES WHICH ARE NOT CHARITABLE IN ACCORDANCE WITH [SECTION 7 OF THE CHARITIES AND TRUSTEE INVESTMENT (SCOTLAND) ACT 2005] AND [SECTION 2 OF THE CHARITIES ACT (NORTHERN IRELAND) 2008].

**Activities:** The Overseas Afghans Foundation (OAF) tackles poverty by distributing food parcels to address hunger and food insecurity. We implement water well projects to provide clean drinking water to underserved Afghan communities, improving health and easing hardship. OAF also empowers women with resources and support to improve their health, well-being, and self-sufficiency for their families.
