Section D Achievements and performance It was our aim to support a minimum of 12 children within the first year and we are pleased to advise that this has been achieved. Summary of the main achievements of the ¢harlty during the year We have supported a range of disadvantaged children in the area across football, kickboxing, dance, cheerleading and gymnastics. These children withoLrt our support would have been pulled from their sport due to the financial constraints of their parenlslcarers. One ￿al Suc￿sS story is a 14 year old female who had stopped Kickboxing due to her mother being unable to afford lessons. She is now off Ihe scholarship, but Ihanks to the support provided by LUTSO, she is now competing at a high level and coaching the junior members within her club. The 14 year old and her family put this down to the support of LUTSO. Without it, she would have stopped, not be working towards her Coaching qualifications or competing. The positive ripple effect of this can te seen throughout The Sleaford Fight Club and their junior members who idolise their young coach. TAR March 2012
