Structure, Governance and Management
Noah's Legacy is a Charitable Incorporated Organisation (CIO) with Foundation constitution, registered with the Charity Commission for England and Wales on 5 June 2024. The charity is managed by its board of trustees who are responsible for the overall direction and control of the charity.
The trustees are Nazmin Sultana (Chair) and Syed Hussain. Trustees are recruited in accordance with the charity's constitution and receive an induction upon appointment covering the charity's objectives, governance responsibilities, and financial management.
Objectives and Activities
The objects of Noah's Legacy are the relief of sickness and the preservation and protection of good physical and mental health of children diagnosed with cancer within the United Kingdom. The charity pursues these objects in particular through:
• Providing toys, food, entertainment and activities to children and their parents or carers within hospitals.
• Providing childhood cancer information to parents or carers living in hospitals with their children through practical advice and support, and educational resources.
• Fostering links and collaborating with hospitals and other cancer-related medical bodies to provide support and funding to children with cancer and their parents or carers.
• Providing financial support to further advance clinical research into cancer.
Achievements and Performance
The period from 18 April 2024 to 17 April 2025 was the charity's first full year of operation following registration in June 2024. During this period the trustees focused on establishing the charity's governance framework, raising awareness of its mission, and laying the groundwork for future fundraising and charitable activities.
No income was received during this period. The trustees are committed to developing the charity's activities in the coming year.
Financial Review
The charity received no income during the period ended 17 April 2025. Total receipts for the period were £0.00 and total payments were £0.00, resulting in a closing balance of £0.00.
The trustees have assessed the financial position of the charity and are satisfied that it is appropriate to prepare the accounts on a going concern basis.

In the coming year the trustees plan to begin fundraising activities, establish relationships with hospitals and cancer-related organisations, and commence the delivery of charitable activities in line with the charity's objects.
Reserves Policy
As a newly established charity with no income in this period, the trustees have not yet adopted a formal reserves policy. The trustees intend to review and adopt a reserves policy once the charity begins to receive income.

Basis of preparation
