Annual Report of the Trustees of the Edmund Plowden Trust for 1[st] November 202431[st] October 2025.
The trustees met on two occasions: 25[th] November 2024 and 12[th] July 2025.
The trust continued with the publication of the journal Law and Justice, the Christian Law Review and in this period two issues of the journal were produced of which the main contents were:

We were pleased to welcome two new members of the editorial board: , Dr. Peter Petkoff and Sarah Fraser Butlin KC.
Although outside the period covered by this report it is worth mentioning that the trustees continued with preparations for the series of lectures which are now put on with Notre Dame London and with the financial support of the Newman Association under the title of the Richard O’Sullivan Memorial Lecture .
The 2024 lecture is to be given by Prof. Sir Malcolm Evans, Principal of Regent’s Park College, Oxford and formerly Professor of Public International Law at the University of Bristol., on Thursday 6th November 2025, just outside the period of this report. The topic will be: 'Religion, Torture and Human Rights: an international lawyer's perspective'. The next lecture, scheduled for spring/summer of 2026, will be by Professor Mary Ellen O’Connell who is Robert and Marion Short Professor of Law and Professor of International Peace Studies at the University of Notre Dame.
