## **1. Gate receipts & Entry Fees**

Gate Receipts category was significantly down on the previous year. Down by £8,632, just under 20%. Entry Fees were down by £2,994 which is a decrease of 21.5%.

## **2. Total office costs / overheads**

"Back-office" costs **decreased** by £6,357, mainly due to lower printing/stationery, sundry expenses, and donations.

## **3. Total 'showfield' costs**

The costs of setting up the show also increased, with an increase of c. £6,798, largely due to hire of equipment and marquees

## **4. Other show-day costs**

These costs increased by £4,046. The increase is mainly due to entertainment expenses, including a £5,432 Equine Performance fee which did not appear in 2024 costs. The Judges Fees fell by £1,290.

## **5. Net Loss**

The 2025 show made a net loss of £18,939, compared with a loss of £3,390 in 2024. The significant fall in gate receipts contributed heavily to the larger deficit.
