- **This 15 month accounts report is generated specifically to meet the requirements of the Charity Commission as part of our first submission. The reporting period is from 1[st] June 2024 to 31[st] August 2025** 



## **Notes** 

   1. The gift aid receipt of £851.11 represents the tax refund on eligible subscriptions for the year to 31[st] August 2024. 

2. Concert donations of £1565 represents the receipt of £160 for the '100 Voices' concert held at SS Peter and Paul Church, Lincoln on the 26[th] of October 2024, £215 for the concert held at St.Germain's Church, Scothern on the 15[th] of February 2025 and £160 for the concert held at All Saints Church, Nocton on the 21[st] of March. 

- Joint concert at central Methodist church on 3[rd] May raised a total of ££625 Joint concert at LCFC with Waddington Ladies raised £250 

3. Venue hire of £1115.00 represents the hire of the Methodist Hall (£500) for 20 weeks commencing the 5[th] of September 2024; a further  hire (£500) for the 20 weeks commencing the 13[th] of February and the cost of room hire (£25.00) for 2 committee meetings. The first meeting was held on the 21[st] of 

January and a further meeting was held on the 29[th] of April. 

4. Choir membership fees refers to the annual membership of the National Association of Choirs and to Music Link for the year to 31[st] December 2025. 

5.  General purchases represents the purchase of song sheets for the choir. 

6.   The choir insurance includes cover for compensation payments, legal costs, loss of business money, wrongful acts, accidental injury, property damage and other costs in connection with specified legal disputes. The insurance is for the year to 31[st] December 2025. 

   7.  Sundries of £190 represent payments of £20 to the trumpeter for the Remembrance concert held on the 8[th] of November 2024 at The Ark, North Hykeham, £35 to the Soprano singer for the concert held at St.Germain's 

   Church, Scothern on the 15[th] of February 2025, £40 for a 21[st] birthday gift to the Musical director and £35 to the Soprano singer for the concert held at All Saints Church, Nocton on the 21[st] of March. 

- Joint concert on 3[rd] May £60 for flowers for the University musicians. 

   8.  The balance at bank as at the 31st of August 2025 was £3,018.63 

9.  The choir has a savings account with the Skipton Building Society and the balance as at the 31[st] of  August 2025, was £8728.61. The interest rate was reduced from 3.20% to 3.15% with effect from the 9[th] of December 2024 and as from the 10[th] of March the rate has been further reduced to 2.90%
