Inclusion Sports Foundation exists to advance
amateur sport and to promote health,
wellbelng and social incluslon for people of all
ages and abilities, particularly disabled people,
those wlth mental-health challenges and other

During the period the charity provlded

football, boxlng, Boccla and other accessible
sports through regular tralnlng sesslons, open
'Just Play" opportvnities and partlcipatlon in
local leagues and festlvals. Actlvltles included
men's and women's adult football, mlxed
dlsabSllty and mental.health football for adults
and jur¢iors, women's iecreational sesslons,
adult and lunlor Incluslon boxlng, and adult
Boccia programmes at community venues
across the area. Sesslons were delivered in
small, supportlve groups wlth clear progression
routes into teams, volunteering, leadershlp and
coachlng, helping participant5 to increase
physlcal activlty, improve confi'dence and bulld
social connections.
In plannin8 the charity's activities and setting
objective5 for the year, the trustees have had
regard to the Charity Commission's guidance
on public benefit and are satisfied that the
charity's programmes provide clear public
benefit in line with its charitable

The charity doe5 not currently operate a formal
social investment programme. Any surplus
funds are held In standard charity bank
account5 and applled directly to charitable
activities in line with the trustees, priorities
and risk appetite.
The charity relies heavily on volunteer5,
including trustees, coaches, sesslonal helpers
and supporters, who contribute substantial
time and expertlse to planning, delivering and
supporting sesslons, events and governance.
Without this volunteer contrlbution, the ran8e
and frequency of inclusive 5POrtS Opportunities
offered b the charity could not be sustained.

Over the period the charity maintained and
grew a programme of inclusive football, boxing
and Boccia activlty, with an overall
membership of approximately 110 people. It
SLSStained adult malnstream and Inclusion
football teams in local leagues, Includlng
dlsablllty and mental-health teams, expanded
women's and glrls, opportunlties, ènd
developed pathways from junlor mlxed
sesslons Into adult particlpation. The charity
progressed plans for a long-term lease and
development of facilities at Mlllers Dene In the
Walkergate ward, on the Ilne of Hadrian's Wall,
to establish a dedicated incluslon sports hub
for the local community.

During the year, the charlty ieported total
incoming resources of £14,449. The principal
sources were donations1£9,3591 and income
from trading activities1£5,0911. Resources
expended amounted to £13,854, primarily
SUPPOrting charitable activities. The resulting
net income was £595.

to ensure the charity can contlnue to operate
effectively and meet its obligations.

The Charity's principal sources of income durSng
the period were grants from charltable trusts
and foundatlons, local authority or partner
fundlng, donations from Indlviduals and
organisations, membership fees and sesslon
contrlbutlons. Modest fundralslng activities
and in-kind support, such as reduced-rate
facility hire and donated equipment, also
supported delivery.
Given the current scale of operations, the
charity's pollcy is to hold fund5 in standard
bank deposit accounts to mlnlmlse r5sk and
ensure ready a¢¢ess to cash for programme
delivery. The trustee5 review thi5 approach
perlodlcally but do not currently engage In
wider investment activity.
Key risks identified by the trustee5 include
dependence on grant funding and a small
number of major funders, rising facility and
operating costs, safeguarding and
health-and-safety risks inherent Irb 5POrts
activity, and the capacity and wellbeing of a
largely volunteer workforce. These are
managed through diversified fundraising,
careful budgeting, appropriate insurance,
robust safeguarding and safety policies, and
orbgoing support and training for volunteers
and staff.

trusts:
Inclusion Sports Foundatlon 15 governed by a
written Constitution which sets out the
charlty's objects, powers and the rule5 under
which it operates. The Constitution establishes
the charity as a Charitable Incorporated
Organisation ICIOI registered with the Charity
Commission for England and Wales (number
12084811 and defines its purposes as advancing
amateur sport and promoting health, wellbeing
and social inclusion, particularly for disabled
people, those with mental-health challenges
and other under-represented groups In
Newcastle upon Tyne, North Tyneside,
Northumberland and nelghbourlng areas.
Under these trusts, the charity's assets must be
applled solely In fL¢rther3nce of these purposes,
with no private beneflt to trustees or members
beyond what is properly permitted (for
example, reasonable reimbursement of
expenses), The Constltutlon sets out how
trustees are appolnted and removed, their
duties and declslon-makin8 powers, and the
