## **Trustees Annual Return 2024/2025**
Clynderwen Playing Fields Committee is a registered charity number 1208470 and is based in Clynderwen, Pembrokeshire, West Wales.
The objects of the CIO are to provide and maintain for the inhabitants of Clynderwen and the neighbourhood, activities in the interests of social welfare, playing fields and facilities for recreation and leisure time occupation for the purpose of relaxation, and with the object of improving the quality of life for the said inhabitants.
The first eight charity trustees are as follows:
Terry Morris; Parry Lloyd; Simon Wright; Faith Wright; Catrin Boulton; Meurig Jones; Edward Fussell; Pauline Thomas
The management committee which sits on the first Thursday of every month is comprised of 4 trustees in the positions of Chair, Vice Chair, Secretary and Treasurer roles. The committee can itself have in excess of ten persons present in a meeting.
The charity is built on solid foundations having been a Non Profit making organisation, founded in 1974 and opened officially by the then Chair Mr Geraint Bevan in 1985 with Mr Phil Bennet, Llanelli, Wales, Barbarians and British and Irish Lions rugby legend.
In our first year we have seen the continuation of our village Carnival and Fun day which is a major fundraiser for the Playing Fields. Weekly office rental, along with hire of the pavilion for Children’s parties, social evenings and resident association meetings have all added to the funds.
In October 2024 with the help of local tradespersons, volunteers and donations from businesses and locals we created a Accessible for all, BMX cycle ‘Pump’ Track to compliment the existing facilities. The existing Tennis court, Play area and recreation field with goal posts were used regularly by local groups and football teams from nearby Narberth.
The Pump track has shown to be our greatest expenditure for the year along with goods for sale in the Carnival and fun day, and the purchase of a new ride on mower to replace the old Tractor.
