Aim and PUTposes.
Si Saviour's Parochial Church Council (PCQ has the Tesponsibility of promoting in the ecclesiastical
paTish. the whole mission of rhe chuFch. pasiornl. evangelists"c. social and ecumenical.
Objectives aDd activities
The PCC is committed io enabling as many people as p05sibl¢ to ViOTship with us and to become paTI
of our parish communtty- Our services and wotsbip put faith into practi¢¢ through player. sctiptur¢
and mu51t and sacraThent.
When plaJ]lling our acttiilies for th¢ year. th¢ PCC have considered the Charty Commission's
guidanc¢ on public be¥Lefit and, in particular the guidance on charities for the advancemelst of religion.
We ty to enabl¢ ordinary people to live out their faith a5 part of ow parish community through:
Worship and prayer; (eaLhing the Gos￿] and developing thcir knowledge and tru51 in Jesus
Provision of pastoral care tor people livlng in the parish
Mi$sioTW and outreach work.
All of this can be summarised by ihe PCC considering, in everything it doe5. its Mission Statemcnt:
'In Christ wc welcome tvcryolle- to grow together in faith that we mibht slwe the unconditional love
of God for all,.
To facilitate and support this work it is important that the PCC maintains the fabric and improves the
facilities of our buildings.
Achlevements 2nd performance
Despite this being the second year in vacancy (haiing no priest) the church has managed to function.
Wotship and prayer
The main service has been a EuchaTiSt at 10.30 a.rn. on Sundays. In the first el¢ven months of the
y¢aT this has alternated with a setyice at St Peter's. B¢lsiz¢ Square. On th¢ Sundays when there has
not been a morJ5ing service at St Saviour's theR has been a lay-lcd afternoon setvice. This h25
altemated bEtween an Evening Prayer in Celtic manner and a service of Taizé worshtp. Since Advent
(December) both St Saviour's and St Peter's have had th¢ir own Eucharisl s¢rvtces. Ta3zé worship has
continucd. Lecrio DI￿na has b¢¢n hcld for an houT a week aliernating monthly between St S2viour'5
and St Peler's. This continues.
Pastoral care
Wid¢ ranging Vdstoral care ha5 Ilot been possible. However. for an how on Tuesdays and Thursdays
the church has been QPEned for private prayer, with two members of the Con￿￿&￿atiOn present a5
watcheTS. Two petsons have come ¢on5isiently and we believe have fouud ihis helpful_

A Carol Service on 15 DcceEnberwas aiiended by 85 people (including choir atjd 10 childr¢n.

Safeguaiding
The PCC confinDS that has COTnplied with its duty under section 5 of th¢ Safeguarding aDd Clcrgv
Discipline Measure 2016 (dllty to have rcgard to the House of Ilishops. guidance on safeguarding
children andvulnerable athilis}.
Voluntee
Beyond the PCC we have no volunteeTS regulaTly engaged in particular fftatters, Ihough memb¢rs of
th¢ congr¢gaiion help when they can. Thc contnbution of th¢ PCC is invaluable and the church could
not fuThction withollt thern.
Fillancial review
Tottl receipis on unTestticted fvnds was £159.646. Totsl payments OFL unrestricted ￿ttd$ amounted
£316.908 of th'hich £240.953 spent on majoi repairs and maiTrtenance and £41,000 was
contribuied to Ihe tnndon Dioccsam Common Fund_
The net tesult for th¢ year was an ¢xcess of payments over receipts of £157.262 on unre5trictcd funds.
Thc balance to carry fO￿￿'ard at 31 Dccember 2024 on unrestricted funds was £l35,064.
The balallce to carry fonvard on r¢slrictcd funds at 31 December 2024 was £1.873. b¢iThg the amount
relating to ihe windows project.
Reserves policy
It is the PCC policy to ]naÉntsin tlke r¢commended batance on unrestricted fiukds which equat￿ to at
least three months of th¢ norn)al runDing costs. The cash balance on the unrestricted fLmd5 at the year-
end is well in excess of this figure.

St Saviour's Church is situated at Eton Road. Chalk bm. London NW3 4SU. It is part of the Di￿eSe
of London vrilhin the Chureh of England. Th¢ PCC is a COEporaie body estsblished by the c￿ll￿h of
England. The PCC operntes ushder ihe Paio¢hial Church Council Powers Measure 1956 and th¢

the congregation who are (m ihe electordl role of the church. Melnbers of the cgngregation are
encouraged to r¢￿sEe1 the EleLtoral Roll and stand for election to the PCC.
PCC members are responsible for making decisxons on all matters of genetal concern and impoTlance
to the parish including deciding on how the fiinds of the PCC ate to be spent. New members haTre

The PCC ¥net on 7 occasions thiring the year. The av¢rdge level ot attendanc¢ at PCC mectings
