We wyll begiTh supporting people by off¢ring 8 counselling seryice for those affec*d by adoption andlor trauma. Prior to
beginning th¢iF worK all counsellors will receiv¢ traintng to ensure t)￿ are equipped with a strong understanding of
the unique ehall¢ng¢s that itidividuals off￿trd by adoptiOD aDd trauma may f￿. This raining will help ensure OUT
9ervic¢ is sensitive, u1f0rnie￿ and effectiV¢.
SignifJcJnt activlties
Since registering as a charity with the Clwity CollllJi&sion on 28th May 2024, progress ID deliveritig direct support has
been slower th8n hoped. was thie to legal tV4uirements in Wales. which meani we fiTSt had to regsster as an
Adoption Supp)rt Agency with Care kn￿¢t￿le Wales Ixfore we could begjn working with individuals affected by
adoption. The application process was lengthy, with the CThair of Tn￿l￿$ needing to provide v8rious pieces of evi¢Jen¢e
and infonnation to satisfy regulatory rwiirements. W¢ are ple&sed to rep￿ that the applic#tiOll was approved on 13th
June 2025. With this milestone acbieved the cbarity is now in a position to begm markethng and outreath, with the goal
of starting to siipport p¢ople as gthiTh as possThi le.

events havc been well-supported by the con]rnuniry and have helped rdise valuable fwids. In addKtiOll to this, we are
delighted to have secured a one-year grant from th¢ National Lottery Fund. This suppn provides us with a strong
foundation ￿ begin delivering meaningfvl supp)rt to Fwle in our cDmmunity over the ¢oming ycar.
