## **Statement To The Charity Commission Regarding the Inability to Organise Fundraising Events.**

## **Explanations for the charity’s inability to Organise Fundraising Events.**

On behalf of I, the trustees and the entire family of Helping Hands Foundation wish to provide updates regarding our inability to organize fundraising events. The charity was unable to organise planned fundraising events due to circumstances beyond our control. But we were able to receive used items from family, friends and some local people. For example, used toys, clothing, shoes and books to send to Africa where the charity to situated.

These challenges include:

## **1. Unexpected life changes,**

## **2. Financial strains to pay for the venue.**

## **3. Lack of volunteers due to relocation.**

These issues significantly affected our ability to deliver any events effectively and in line with our governance responsibilities. As a result, anticipated fundraising activities did not take place to raise funds.

The trusteers have reviewd the situation carefully and are taking steps to address the underlying challenges including:

**1. Strengthening volunteer support.**

**2. Reviewing operational planning.**

**3. Exploring alternative fundraising metheds, like digital**

   - **campaigns and partnerships.**

## **4. Ensuring future events are feasible, sustainable, and compliant with charity regulations.**

Despite these setbacks, the charity remains committed to its charitable purposes, and the trustees continue to act in the best interests of beneficiaries. We will keep the commission informed of any significant developments and are confident that the measures being implemented will improve our fundraising capacity going forward.
