period ended 31 December 2024.

The financial statements klave been prepared on a going COn￿rn basis in o)mplianee with the
applicable accounting standants in the United ￿dOrn induding the Statement (rf Recommended

accordance with the Financial Reporting Standard (FRS) applicable in the UK and Republie of
Ireland (FKS 102).

Coleg T￿ is the bistoricaj centre of The Presby￿?￿ Chureh of Wales. Tal)ern2cle Chape]. 81
Merthyr Rou& IMhitchurcM Cardifj CFM IDD. The College is administered as a separatdy registered
ciwity. A new CharitabEe Incorporated Organisation (A%wciation} for Coleg Trefeea was ￿gIStered
with the Charity Commission on 22nd May 2024. The Presbrnian Church of Wales is the sole
member of the Charitable Ineorporated Org>]nisation.
The advancement of the Christian faith through the prDvxsion of a place of worsbip. whith will also
ineorporats educating in the faith. relid of those in need and provision of recreational facilities in
furtheran(Y of the faith.
In .%etting the College objective, and planning its activities, the trustee has given careful
consideration to the Charity Commission's general guidan(z on public benefit.
Connected charity
The College rep)rts to the General Assembly of the Presb)tsrian Church of Wales thmugh its
Re50UTces Departtnent and Properties Board.
Developments, activities and achlevements
ColegTrefeca h&8 seen a y￿Of sigDificant transition inthat a new CIO has been &8tablished
togeiher Mryth a new Board of Th￿te&s. We are tbanknl for the go(Klwill and excellent foundation
that the previous CIwi￿S Board have pa&sed onto the new CIO. This ellabled u5 to so forward
into the next chapter of the CA)leg Tre[￿& story. ITh aecoTdance with ourobiects and supporting
business plom, there has been a great deAI of focus on promoting thefaeilityin the digital world and
thro￿gh personal relattonship& There has been a reconnection with manypast users together with
a substantial iDcre&8e in new footfall. Fe￿ack has been overwhelmingly positive. and we hope to
It has been pleasing to see a steady flow of international visiturs, utLderliDing the importance of the
Trefeea story to the slobal Church. Similarly, over the lastyear mueh of our increased usage has
been tI￿OUgh the re*stablishing of Telationships other historie denominations in Wale8 alld
England. ID addition to these eleJJJents, new relationships are being established with other
nettwo￿ and streallts within the christi￿ Church.
To supportthe growth through this period, both existing and new staff have workedtirelessty and
entlntsiastieally a5 they have sought to once again make it a plac£ of generous welmme. As we l(KJk
at the coming months, preparations are well underway regarding the conseryatioll and
development of the site. Given that the site is within the Bannau Brechieniog NationAI Pfr￿ and
that it also a Grade 2• listed status. variouspernii&sions need to be given before physical works can
cojnmenee. We are pleasedto rep)rt that this prelimiwwork is well undemy.
All these activities are in u]ignment with the Continuing aim of pTh)viding a qu01ity welcoming space
for retreat and formation. Complitnenting the physical space. the intention is to also offer an in
house creative retreat program of activities aimed at a variety of diffeTent groups 8nd it is hoped
that these will develop over the coming years.
