Charitable Objects
The objects of the charity ('the objects') are for the benefit of the public:
(a) to advance the Christian faith in accordance with the statement in such ways and in such parts of the United Kingdom or the world as the trustees from time to time may think fit; (b) to relieve sickness and financial hardship and to promote and preserve good health by the provision of funds, goods or services of any kind including the provision of counselling and support in such parts of the United Kingdom or the world as the trustees from time to time think fit;
(c) to advance education in such ways and in such parts of the United Kingdom or the world as the trustees from time to time may think fit.
Review of Activities
The trustees have paid due regard to guidance issued by the Charity Commission in deciding what activities the charity should undertake. The trustees have also complied with duty in section 4 of the Charities Act 2006 to have due regard to the public benefit guidance published by the Charity Commission.
During 2024 the outworking of the above objectives, saw the following activities take place;
Hope for All – supporting an educational project in Kampala who equip young woman and mothers to learn skills that will enable them to develop their own micro business and sustain a self-sufficient income. Skills include tailoring, hairdressing & bakery.
Cephas Leadership Foundation – provided training, opportunities for networking, for developing and maturing leaders in Uganda.
FACT – Future after childhood trauma – a registered community based project in Uganda supporting and empowering children, provides education, accommodation, feeding and clothing.

Trustees’ Responsibilities
Charity Law requires us as Trustees to prepare financial statements for each accounting year which record the receipts and payments of the charity for the year.
We are responsible for keeping proper accounting records which disclose with reasonable accuracy at any time the financial position of the Charity and enable us to ensure that the financial statements comply with the Charities Act 2011.
We also have responsibility to safeguard the assets of the charity and to take reasonable steps to prevent fraud or any other irregularities.
