Individuals selected for appointment as charity trustees must have the skills, knowledge and experience needed for the effective administration of the CIO, as determined by charity trustees
Induction and training of new trustees: As the charity is dormant, no formal induction or training has been undertaken this year.

Section C: Objectives and activities
Charity purposes (as set out in the governing document):
The conservation, protection and improvement of the physical and natural environment by the establishment of nature reserves, restoration of natural habitats, ecosystems and biological diversity; and the education of the public on the conservation, protection and improvement of the environment.
Achievements and Performance:
During the reporting period, the charity has been dormant and has not undertaken any charitable activities. The trustees are in the process of securing an initial site for the reserve, planning conservation action and securing funds to prepare for the commencement of its charitable work.
Public benefit guidance:
The trustees have considered the Charity Commission's guidance on public benefit and are confident that the charity's objects and future plans for its activities will be for the public benefit.
Section D: Achievements and performance
Summary of the main achievements:
As the charity has been dormant, there have been no activities or operational achievements during the financial year. The trustees' main achievement has been to ensure the charity remains legally compliant while awaiting the commencement of its operations.
Section E: Financial review
For the financial period ended 1[st] January 2025, the charity received no income and incurred no expenditure. This is consistent with its dormant status.
Reserves policy:
The charity has no funds and the trustees are awaiting income before a policy is established.
Principal sources of funds:
There are currently no sources of funds and the charity is dormant.
Section F: Future plans
The trustees plan to commence fundraising and obtain a site suitable for conservation activities as outlined by the charity constitution. The trustees will review the charity's status and progress at their regular meetings.
