The following Director and Trustee served during the year: Keith Lewis Stephen Price ## Lee O’Neill Michael Williams ## **Trustees Annual Report** ## OBJECTIVES AND ACTIVITIES The purpose of the Charity is to promote community participation in healthy recreation and provide a safe and happy environment in which children and adults from the local area and beyond participate. It is also a priority to promote other charities and voluntary bodies purposes that will be determined from time to time, and the trustees are aware of the benefits to the community based on the guidance from the Charity Commission. ## **Llwydcoed Community Centre Annual Report** ## **ACHIEVEMNTS AND PERFORMANCE** Llwydcoed Community Centre plays an important part in the community. It provides a safe environment for children and adults to participate in its and other charitable and voluntary groups activities and encourages community involvement from participants. Since Llwydcoed Community Centre became a CIO it has been successful in obtaining various funding to improve the building inside and out. New doors and windows have been installed and a new heating system to make the building even more comfortable for its visitors. Refurbishment of the toilet areas has been completed, and a baby changing facility has been added. ## **FINANCIAL REVIEW** The main source of income for the Community Centre comes from the hireing out of the building to various groups. Activities currently taking place include a dog training school, a local choir’s weekly practice and an Under 6s football team training. There are also two different types of exercise classes being held on a weekly basis. Funding has also been approved to help reduce the running costs of the Community Centre by way of solar panels which will be installed in the future. ## **STRUCTURE, GOVERNANCE AND MANAGEMENT** Llwydcoed Community Centre is a registered charity. The registration number is 1208334 and was registered on 21[st] May 2024 as a registered CIO. The nature of the governing document is constitution, the trustees are appointed during our annual AGM and the charity is committee run on a voluntary basis.
