**Objects:** THE OBJECTS OF THE CIO ARE TO ESTABLISH MAINTAIN AND MANAGE A COMMUNITY CENTRE WHICH SHALL BE A WAR MEMORIAL TO FURTHER OR BENEFIT THE RESIDENTS OF PARISH OF GERRARDS CROSS IN THE COUNTY OF BUCKINGHAMSHIRE AND ITS IMMEDIATE NEIGHBOURHOOD, WITHOUT DISTINCTION OF SEX, SEXUAL ORIENTATION, RACE OR OF POLITICAL, RELIGIOUS OR OTHER OPINIONS BY ASSOCIATING TOGETHER THE SAID RESIDENTS AND THE LOCAL AUTHORITIES, VOLUNTARY AND OTHER ORGANISATIONS IN A COMMON EFFORT TO ADVANCE EDUCATION AND TO PROVIDE FACILITIES IN THE INTERESTS OF SOCIAL WELFARE FOR RECREATION AND LEISURE TIME OCCUPATION WITH THE OBJECTIVE OF IMPROVING THE CONDITIONS OF LIFE FOR THE RESIDENTS.

**Activities:** To promote the well being of the Community resident in the Parish of Gerrards Cross, in a common effort to further health, to advance education, to provide a meeting place and facilities for physical and mental training and recreation and social, moral and intellectual development and to foster a community spirit.
