Structure and details of how it is managed, including how trustees are recruited
The DOC Church operates as a Charitable Incorporated Organisation in which the charity trustees are also the only voting members, meaning governance and membership are identical in structure. The trustees collectively manage the a�airs of the CIO and exercise all its powers, with a minimum of three trustees required at any
including being at least 18 years old, subscribing in good conscience to the Statement of Beliefs, and holding an o�ice within the church, such as Apostle, Elder, Prophet, Evangelist, Pastor, Teacher, or Deacon (although there can be exceptions based on experience). The recruitment of new trustees occurs by resolution at a properly convened trustees’ meeting, with each appointment lasting a three-year term. In selecting new candidates, the existing trustees must consider the skills, knowledge, and experience necessary for the e�ective administration of the CIO.
Activities and objectives in the year
The overall objective of the charity is to: -
accordance with its Statement of Beliefs and Practices, primarily in Burton upon Trent but also in any other parts of the UK or the world as the trustees deem appropriate. In addition, the charity may carry out any other purposes that are exclusively charitable under the law of England and Wales and are connected with its Christian work”

Achievements and performance, including reporting on its public benefit
Here is a list of activities/achievements between 6[th] April 2024 to 5[th] April 2025:-

Education

The Alpha course was delivered with new attendees.

Sunday Sermons and Sunday School sessions are conducted each week.

oThursday discipleship sessions. -
Evangelism

On average, two outreach sessions a month in the town centre.

Portugal outreach 19[th] – 26[th] October complete.

Tracts (English/Portuguese) and free Bibles for the community have been distributed.
-
A group of Portuguese youths we’re given evangelism training and put the theory into practice.

Building
-
Renovations are complete on the church building, and essential services are registered.

Church building registered, so for 0% council tax.

Charity/Church insurance was acquired.
-
Lease was extended by additional 2 years.

Sunday School
-
Baby gate installed next to stairs.
-
Sometimes there are now 4-5 children up from 1.
-
BDS checks of Sunday School sta� are complete.

Additional storage installed.

Individuals
-
T had a baby.
-
C is showing growth in Christ and a heart of love, wisdom, joy and peace, has been participating in outreach and is becoming more comfortable in the presence of others. Also started praying.

D has matured in Christ and is living a more Christ-centred life.

N started to attend Alpha.
-
R is growing strong in Christ, has become more at ease with outreach. Is willing to ask questions and seek guidance. He also attended his first overseas outreach mission.

A1 has been learning/ helping with the sound and IT duties.

Widow L1 was helped to relocate back to Brazil to retire with her family.
