CHAIRMAN'S STATEMENT
FOR THE YEAR ENDED 31 DECEMBER 2025
The Trustees of F61T have worked exceptionally hard and wlh great enthusiasm lo fulfil their iemil, Every Board
member has given their lime willingly and shown admirable creativity in trying to address issues and problem solve.
As Chair, it continues to be my privilege lo lead the Board but acknowledge the overwhelming sense of partnershlp
amongst Tiustees.
Neil Mcwilliams resigned as a trustee in September 2025 and I would like to thank Neil fc)r his servi¢e and contribution
during his lenure as a trustee for F61T.
In November 2025, F61T welcomed Claire Darby, mother of a F61T beneficiary, Grace Darby, and Anele Griessel to
the board ol Iruslees. The IrLJStees are very grateful lo them for volunteering lo join the board and we are excited lo
work with them going forward.
Diane Cranmer departed her position as CEO iri Seplembei 2025 and our IoLJndei and vice-chairperson, Anel van
der Merwe stepped up lo take on the position 83 acling-CEO, working tirelessly lo ensure that F61T continues lo
provide our services lo Qui wonderful F61T community.
F61T reflected upon its operational slrudure and aignificanl change lo the working ol the charity this year has been
the decision not lo employ a new CEO al this time. Instead. F61T decided to employ a very experienced Operations
Manager, Laura Baxter, who is highly skilled and will make a huge difference to the charity.
In November 2025, F61T converted Meagen Rees, a beneficiary parent, from a volunteer lo a paid part-time
Fundraising Officer. Meagan's amazing efforts. working closely with our finance Iru$lee, Slu Crouch. has ensured Ihe
continued growth ol F61T's community and services ofiering and the Iru51ee5 are very grateful lo Meagan.
l am very confident that the addition of Laura and Meagan prOv￿deS F61T with strong ￿re slabilty and positions F61T
for exciting lulure growth and ￿ expect to continue that strategy into 2026. The hiring ol an experienced core team
of key employees enables the Iruslees lo focus more on strategy and governance.
This year. we also welcomed four new beneficiary parent members lo the Advisoiy Group, whL)se guidance and
conlribulitsn is very much appreciated by the Iruslees. Further, our volunteer community continues lo grow and l am
very grateful lor all of their lime and contribution and wilhoul whom we would not be able lo achieve all Ihal we do.

2025 has baèn a year of significant growth and change for F61T and we would like lo say a huge thank you lo our
staff, parent advisois, volunteer5. coaches. activity partners, supporters. fund raisers, corpor81è partn8rs, CoUn￿lS
and funders for making il such a successful year.
Thanks to their dedication, F61T has b88n abl8 lo build on tsur 20."4 foundation5 and deliver 10S activity sessions,
engage 190 uniqua participants, and foster a welcoming, indusivl communrty - all guidad by our eoré prinriple5".
Family, Friends, Fun, Fitness, Function, Futur8, Inclusion and Therapy.
Th8 charity has been able to deliver on ils goal of expanding th8 rang8 of adivilies on offer. Increasing from 7
activities In 2024 10 13 in 2025. Guided by the Parent Adwsory group, this eonlinued development allow5 us to
reach an Inci8asing number of beneficiaries and expand this supportive and inclusive eomlnuntty.
There was considerable focus on th8 new website in 2025 and th$ Improved clarity and information has been vary
well received. We a150 produced an Impact Rèport to showcase the charity and its achievemen15. We encourage
everyone to hav8 8 read (available via the w¢bsil¢l as the feedback from the familias is thé b8St reminder of what
makès F61T so special.

F61T is a UK Charilable Incorporated Organisation. The charity is govemed by a board of 8 Twslee5 and infomed
by a parent advisory group. There was one p8id employee As of end year 2025 bul a team tsf volunteers, together
wllh the Truslaas, helped to arrange and manage thè various acliviliès. One ol the Trustees, Anel V8n Der Merwe,
acts as Ihe intèrirn CEO. The chanty has appointed an Operations Manager to start in Èarly 2028 and there are
additional hlres plann&d.

Endowment funds are subj•¢t to specific conditions by donors that the capital must be maintained by thg
Charity.
1.4 Inoome
Income is recognised when the Charity is lègally entitled to It after any performance Ixjndilions have been
rnel, the amounts can be measured reliably. and il is probable that income will b8 r8e8ived.
Cash donations are recognised on recèipt. Other donations are recognised once the Charity has be6n notified
of thè donation, Ljnless performance conditions require deferral of the amount. Income lax recoverable in
