## **2. Structure, Governance and Management** 

The charity is governed by its Constitution/Trust Deed. 

The Board of Trustees is responsible for the overall management and control of the charity. Trustees meet regularly to review the charity’s activities, financial performance, and strategic direction. 

Trustees are appointed in accordance with the governing document and are responsible for ensuring that the charity operates in compliance with applicable laws and regulations in the United Kingdom. 



## **3. Objectives and Activities** 

## **Objectives** 

The charity’s purpose is to promote social inclusion for the public benefit, particularly among individuals from the Garifuna community and other socially excluded groups living in the UK. 

This includes: 

Supporting individuals facing social exclusion due to ethnicity, religion, belief, or socio-economic circumstances. 

Assisting integration into wider society. 

Promoting cultural awareness and community cohesion. 

Public Benefit Statement. 

The trustees confirm that they have complied with their duty to have due regard to the Charity Commission’s guidance on public benefit. 

## **4. Activities and Achievements** 

During the reporting period, the charity had limited operational activity. 

No formal programmes or projects were delivered during this period. However, the trustees focused on: 

Establishing governance structures. 

Planning future activities. 

Exploring funding opportunities. 

Building partnerships within the community. 

Although no direct activities were carried out, these preparatory steps are considered essential for the charity’s future impact and sustainability. 

We are working on organizing different activities for this new annual period.

We are working on organizing different activities for this new annual period, such as the Latin American Gastronomic Fair, where we can invite other support groups to promote different foods and cultures.
