In December 2024, we invited Philip
Briggs, Senior Partnerships Manager of
Compassion UK to introduce their
organisation and its ministry around the
world. From Jan 2025 onwards, the
Church started to sponsor 13 children in
Sri Lanka.
Restoration Church Youth Team facilitate
an initiative named ‘INSPIRE’ which aims
to support the spiritual edification of the
Church through multiple individual and
group activities focusing on the pivotal
points of empowering, equipping, and
encouraging members in their Christian
walk. In April 2024, they changed its
structure to include Christian themes
pertinent to the Sunday Sermons. This

has worked effectively and we are seeing a deeper understanding of topics. Special Occasions/Events We took part and served in the Rotherham Prayer Event on the 27 April 2024, which was hosted by the United Churches of Rotherham which includes Restoration Church. In late April 2024, our Worship Team was invited to serve at a local Tamilian Church in Sheffield for a Revival Meeting amongst a multicultural crowd of 150. Between June 21-23, we held a Mission Conference titled ‘The Big Call’, to understand the importance of mission and call to mission within the local church. We had invited Dr. VJ Samkutty, from All Nations Christian College, Hertfordshire to minister in the event. It was well received by the congregation and first-time guests. The Church held its Annual Fasting Prayer between 30 Oct – 02 Nov. During those days, the congregation experienced refreshing sermons, worship and opportunities to listen to real life testimonies. This was a great encouragement. We had Pastor Roy V as our resource speaker. On the 1[st] March 2025, we had an event titled “Glow for His Glory”. This was a day organised for the Church and various age groups to come together and showcase their talents. We also distributed prizes for the top-scorers in the ongoing Bible Quizzes and Sunday School Exams for the previous academic year. Sunday Service We had our regular Sunday Service between 2:15pm – 5pm.

Intercessory prayer This is a prayer meeting held every Wednesday evening via the ZOOM remote platform, where members gather to pray for the needs of the church, the community, and one another. Through heartfelt prayers and spiritual support, this meeting strengthens faith, encourages unity, and invites God’s guidance and blessings into the lives of all participants. Liberty Church We continue to use Liberty Church Thurcroft for all our services and activities. There is a good and healthy relationship between the two churches, and we engage with Liberty Church Rotherham for community events. Children’s Ministry The Children’s Ministry team continue to provide Sunday School and Pastoral Support to all students and young people of the congregation. We use material from Sunday School Network International USA for guided study. All teachers are DBS checked. We also subscribe to Rightnow Media which is a platform full of Christian educational material and bible studies. Women’s Ministry Once a month, the women in our church gather together for prayer and fellowship, and this is a great blessing for all those that attend. Media Team The media team plays a vital role in supporting church services and events. They manage audio, video, and live streaming, ensuring that worship and messages reach everyone clearly. Hospitality Team The hospitality team warmly welcomes everyone who comes to the church, making them feel at home. They assist with seating, refreshments, and special events, ensuring everything runs smoothly. Their service helps create a

friendly and loving environment for all
users.
Prayer and fasting
Regular prayer and fasting meetings were
conducted throughout the year, and
various ministers were invited to come and
speak to the Church. These prayers
helped everyone grow closer to God,
strengthened their faith, and encouraged a
deeper Christian relationship.

Within the church, the young adults and
several new attendees have been able to

teams. This has improved relationships
and interpersonal skills, and the leadership
are happy that this is within a Christian
ethos. We are seeing an increase of new
volunteers coming forward.
