**Objects:** THE OBJECT OF THE CIO IS TO RELIEVE THE CHARITABLE NEEDS ACCORDING TO THE LAW OF ENGLAND AND WALES OF THOSE WHO ARE DISABLED OR HAVE SPECIAL NEEDS, THOSE WHO ARE HOMELESS OR ARE IN POVERTY, THOSE ON THE PROTECTION REGISTER WHO ARE VULNERABLE, THOSE WHO RECEIVE STATUTORY SUPPORT FROM A SOCIAL WORKER, THOSE WHO ARE UNEMPLOYED OR THOSE FROM A LOW INCOME BACKGROUND (INCOME OF LESS THAN HALF THE MEDIAN ANNUAL INCOME NATIONALLY) BY PROVIDING OR ASSISTING IN THE PROVISION OF EDUCATION, TRAINING AND ALL NECESSARY SUPPORT DEIGNED TO ENABLE INDIVIDUALS TO GENERATE A SUSTAINABLE INCOME AND BE SELF-SUFFICIENT.NOTHING IN THIS CONSTITUTION SHALL AUTHORISE AN APPLICATION OF THE PROPERTY OF THE CIO FOR THE PURPOSES WHICH ARE NOT CHARITABLE IN ACCORDANCE WITH SECTION 7 OF THE CHARITIES AND TRUSTEE INVESTMENT (SCOTLAND) ACT 2005 AND SECTION 2 OF THE CHARITIES ACT (NORTHERN IRELAND) 2008.
