Summary of the purposes of the charity as set out in its governing document	Para 1.17	To provide support to all those affected by Breast Cancer and their Carers in the North East of England.

Achievements and Performance

Summary of the main achievements of the charity, identifying the difference the charity’s work has made to the circumstances of its beneficiaries and any wider benefits to society as a whole.	Para 1.20	We are still the only specifically Breast Cancer support Group in the North East. Our ladies (currently no male members) come from across the region and have found new friendships and it has helped many to re-enter mainstream society again after facing the challenges of breast cancer and how it affects them mentally and physically. In return our ladies support one another and inspire others they come into contact with outside of group. Many of our ladies have returned to work after their recovery period, which is different for each case.

Achievements against objectives set	Para 1.41	Group is still growing and in past year we have welcomed 11 new ladies to the group and have had 17 enquiries. Our main meeting normally has approx. 25 attending. Since startup in 2019 we have been in touch with 78 ladies and 52 are currently part of group in one way or another. Not all can attend due to work, treatment etc.
