  2. 2.1 The structure of the charity.

The charity and its property are managed and administered by a committee comprising the officers and other members elected in accordance with its constitution. The officers and other members of the committee are the trustees of the Charity and are together called 'the trustees'.

The charity shall have the following officers: A Chair

A Secretary A Treasurer

On 31 March 2024 there were five charity trustees who comprise the Management Committee of the association.

All charity trustees are recruited from within the community.

On election, each new member signs an eligibility declaration Clause 6 and confirm they understand the duties and responsibilities involved in being a trustee. The duties and responsibilities of managing charity trustees are reviewed at meetings of the Management Committee when necessary.

4. Achievements and Performance.

The trustees are progressing the transfer of assets of the Romaldkirk Reading and Recreation trust (523403) to the new CIO The Romaldkirk Reading and Recreation Room trust (1208140). This has been hampered by banking delays, solicitor complications and delays regarding transfer of the building via Land Registry. Once completed all assets will be transferred and trust (523403) progressed to closure.

5.1 It is anticipated the new CIO trust will be supported by the existing volunteers that serve the existing trust.

This is the total amount of monetary assets of the CIO for 2024-25. The statement of accounts is attached.

6.2 Policy on financial reserves:

Once all assets transfer we will have a reserve of £6,000 which would cover twelve months running costs if we had no income.

6.3 Grants:

None received to date.

6.4 Donations:

In 2024-25 we received a donation of £11.63. This was used to establish the new bank account necessary for the new CIO.

6.5 Finance team:
