Cambois Primary School PTA Annual Report (Including Financial Summary) For the Year Ending 2025
The Parent Teacher Association (PTA) of Cambois Primary School continues to play an important role in supporting the school community through fundraising, events, and engagement activities. The PTA works in partnership with school staff to enhance pupils’ educational experiences and to strengthen relationships between families and the school.
During the year, the PTA organised a range of fundraising and community events, including seasonal fairs and other activities. These events were well supported by parents, carers, and staff, and we are grateful for the continued generosity and involvement of the school community. In addition to fundraising events, the PTA was pleased to receive grant funding and local donations, which significantly contributed to the overall funds raised.
Total income for the year amounted to £4,433.56. Expenditure totalled £1,344.25 and primarily related to the costs of running fundraising events, including the purchase of stock, supplies, and event hire. This resulted in a net surplus of £3,089.31, which will be carried forward to support future school initiatives, resources, and enrichment opportunities for pupils.
The PTA remains committed to ensuring that funds raised are used effectively to benefit all pupils. During the year, funds have contributed towards enhancing resources and supporting activities that enrich the school experience beyond the core curriculum.
As the PTA’s annual income is below £25,000, the accounts do not require formal independent examination under current guidance. However, the accounts have been reviewed by an independent person in line with good practice. The PTA maintains clear and accurate financial records and is committed to transparency and accountability in all financial matters.
The PTA would like to extend sincere thanks to all parents, carers, staff, and volunteers who have supported its work throughout the year. Their time, effort, and contributions continue to make a positive difference to the school and its pupils.
Looking ahead, the PTA aims to build on this year’s success by continuing to develop fundraising activities and encouraging wider participation from the school community.
